How to read the flight board

Each row of the Samui Airport board shows the flight number, airline, scheduled time, origin and status: on time, delayed, landed or cancelled. Most flights are Bangkok Airways. Data comes from airport systems and updates in real time, but always confirm with your airline for the final word.

Tips for arriving passengers

  • Collect your bags in the open-air arrivals hall, then head for transport.
  • Rental car desks are in the arrivals area, a few steps from the belt.
  • Fixed-fare taxi desks, minibuses and transfer drivers wait just outside.
  • Chaweng and Bophut are minutes away; Lamai and Nathon are a longer drive.

Main connections

Samui Airport is linked mainly to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi by Bangkok Airways, plus Phuket, Chiang Mai, Singapore, Hong Kong and a handful of regional cities. Bangkok Airways flies most of the schedule, with Scoot the main low-cost option to Singapore, so the timetable is smaller than at a mainland airport.
